According to the strict rules of Hindu iconography, Ganesha figures with only two hands are taboo. Hence, Ganesha figures are most commonly seen with four hands which signify their divinity. Some figures may be seen with six, some with eight, some with ten, some with twelve and some with fourteen hands, each hand carrying a symbol which differs from the symbols in other hands. There are about 57 symbols in all, according to the findings of research scholars.

Aries: Use this week to create clarity and power around your deservability. Ask for the support, comfort, security that you are longing for and trust in Divine Organization. Nature will support you, when you finally agree that you deserve your base needs to be met. This will take some deep surrender on your part and a liberation of some old patterning. What early childhood experiences set you up for feeling unworthy of your needs to be met? What life experiences have created paradigms where your needs aren’t met, thus creating a self-fulfilling prophecy of “I don’t get support”? Get clear on the concept of re-patterning, re-learning and inviting in something new and powerful for your Self. You are capable of this Self-expansion, but the catch is that you must first ask for the support and then allow it in. Perhaps giving your Self what you need most will be a starting point. Homework: Commend your ego for what you do right. Make a list of all the things that you do well. Acknowledge your hard work. Pat your Self on the back and give your Self a hug. Affirm your Self. Next, find the holes, where are you not getting the support you need. What isn’t working for you. These are the parts of you that are still living in shadow- the areas you are not letting support in for some reason. Fill in the holes.

“The truth is, you will not leave a moment before you’re ready to, not a second before you open your mouth, and right from the center of your heart, the word ENOUGH comes pouring out.” @ Yoganonomys

Yeah, and maybe not even until after that. It’s not even about “I can” or “I cant”. For me it’s about the feeling of ENOUGH.

I am a strong woman. I am someone living out side the box, following my soul / heart, doing me, and yet I still have a hard time understanding why I am drawn to relationships with people who are addicted, who are bi-polar, who are depressed, who are essentially needy, yet unavailable. My parents are fantastic. I am well educated and not an drug addict or have mental illness myself. But somewhere, somehow, deep in there I am still digging myself out from a believe that I don’t deserve …. I am needy for that person that is needier than I. I think that the community and kids I was raised around had something to do with it. I think my younger sister’s “mood & personality disorders” have something to do with it. I think my earliest interpersonal relationships were really intense and started that groove, but I also feel it’s something from my furthest past, another time, another me. Currently I am not in one of these relationships, but I can’t say I believe I have transcended thru the root of this issue. I am just older, wiser, and not as rocked by the drama. None the less, I am Supreamely grateful for all of these “tainted loves”. For all the drama. For all of these.
